1st Qualifying Final, 1996 Sharks v Magpies: Wests snuck into the top 8 after Cronulla beat Newcastle in the final round of the regular season. However, the Sharks were now the enemy of the underdogs in this gripping battle of survival.

I was there.parra stadium.20-12 from memory.we were actually in a bit of trouble in this game until Paul green stepped up.The Better game was the Bronx one the week after this one where peach scored that awesome "raider" try.

Loving this game, 96 would have to contain most of my favorite players ever from the sharks.

Great to see the players from yesteryear, especially a baby faced Mat Rogers.

The game definitely looked a lot faster with the quick play the balls and without the wrestling of today that we are being force fed.
