I only got to watch one game, but from all reports Hiroti was killing it at fullback for the Jets earlier this year.

I know the quality between NSW Cup and first grade is enormous, but he at least he was excelling there instead of just being passable.
Yet, he was out jumped and scored against how many times now??

I reckon we need a durable tough as nails prop in the Danny Nutley mold.
A player with a bit of fire in him.
A Nutley to partner AFB would be great but I don't think we have the budget for a staring calibre player, even just a workhorse.

I think Rudolf or Hazelton can do the role it if they can stay healthy and find form.

If any space opens up (someone leaves for whatever reason) Josh Papalii would be great, either start and not play big minutes overall (20-40 depending on game) or bench and that gives enough there to let Talakai start.

Honestly though, in form AFB, Rudolf/Hazelton, McInnes with bench of Hazelton/Rudolf, BHU, Talakai, Kaufusi/Atkinson is absolutely an engine room that will win vast majority of games.
Take two out, one playing busted/out of form and one working he way back and it is a very different story.

Warriors were missing a strong starting prop and a mediocre centre. We were missing two of our arguably top 3 props, our best wing/centre (on his game), his backup, and the next best wing/centre we have (who currently has the best form of all of them) went off injured.

Still, we needed to do better than we did, the outs made it hard but don't excuse the collapse.

Agreed 100%. Especially the bolded bit.

Ciraldo also can be thrown into it. Yes he’s cleaned out his roster but look at how much the players who are there have improved in the past 2 years. He’s found a way to squeeze every ounce of talent out of a lot of these players who were just average players before signing at the dogs.
Ciraldo also has the ear of one of the games most knowledgeable administrators who was a premership and NSW winning coach. Who also just happens to be the face in the media and takes all the Bulldogs heavy hits etc.

Look at all stuff around Galvin and potential losing of players etc. Ciraldo didn't have to answer one question about any of that.

Fitz could use someone like that in his corner.

Cleary had the same benefit

Robbo has Politis

Bellamy was embroiled in the all time great cheating scandal that helped them retain elite talent far longer than they should while he continues to establish himself in the role - hard to say the benefit but I doubt having a super good team hindered him too much

Bennett is a weird one. Does well most places but leaves a collapse more often than not

We can’t even give Fitz a fully open stadium or the team the state of the art training facilities ever other team has government funded

Overall, Fitz has done a respectable job given the constraints he faces. We aren't as financially strong as many of the clubs in the competition, and our facilities are not as advanced. It remains to be seen if he can get us out of this funk. And win a premiership. I don't see anyone out there who could take over, though.

I agree that we need changes in several departments within the club.

- Assistant Coaches- We require a complete overhaul of Fitzy’s assistants. It would be beneficial to introduce new ideas on how the team operates and how we prepare for games.

- Jerseys- We have the best colour scheme in the NRL, but our jerseys need a fresh redesign, especially our away jersey.
I think its high time we spend the $ to employ (whether full or part time) a dedicated halves coach. Not just to work with the hakves but to work with the coaches to formulate some strategy
