can history repeat?

next season is the 47th season for the sharks and it took the eels 47 seasons to win their first comp, i think next year is our best chance to win the comp
for a long time. i know we have gone close a few times and i think the pressure of never having won a comp seems to make it harder. but weird concidence like the possibility of the eels and sharks both taking 47 seasons to win the comp seem to happen a lot. what do you guys think?

Hope so mate, god knows we deserve or waited long enough for it, we certainly have our strongest roster is some time, I personally believe we may have our best chance in 2014, thats not to say we aren't a chance in 2013 but we really need to take our window of opportunity in the next few yrs or otherwise we will need to wait for another cycle.

It's probably going to take a few games to get our combos going properly. I'm wouldn't be surprised to see us lose a few early games which will cause the odds to lengthen, that's when I'll put on my $100

Eels won their first comp in 1981 and came in in 1947, It took them 34 years. But still hopeful next year is ours!
