Official Cameron McInnes

Got in the way of our attack.

Defensively reliable, but definitely handbrake in attack.
I think Ennis even said along the lines in his commentary that McInnes doesn’t need to be involved in the attack when we were close to the line.
If I’m a defender I’ll take McInnes getting his hands on the ball as much as he can, whether that’s ball playing, hit ups, crash plays every day of the week & for good measure, twice on Sunday.

why is his halfback letting him get the ball? and why is the hooker going to him?
maybe thats the play they were running, in the presser fitz said the opening wasnt about scoring but tiring them out

100% it’s the game plan, just like it’s part of the game plan to give him the ball for crash plays.
If you’re a defender, who in our pack would you like to be tackling close to the line for crash plays or for the hit ups?

Made my feelings know in the match thread, but I thought Cam had a very poor game.

Don’t get me wrong he got through a mountain of tackling, but he also had plenty of lazy defensive moments and was a handbrake in attack. We’re also lucky they didn’t call the six forward passes he kept throwing.

In saying that, I’m more mad at Fitz for leaving him out there so long when it was obvious he was having an off game.
Yeah there was one he was jogging back slowly after making a tackle and a Wah just ran straight past him. That was infuriating.

The other locks in every other game must have had rippers of games
He did make the most tackles of the week - not without value in a close game

Kempy has Seyfarth on the bench who played well but could have given away a game losing penalty had his hip drop been called.
Willison probably hard done by, I thought he was good - did have 2 errors.

Needs to come off the bench for the rest of the season. Kaufusi to start until Toby’s back and Colquhoon to 13
