He has the launch action down pat!I'd like to see him carrying the ball, riding on AFB's back, and then launched on impact with the defensive line.
Superman form factor. He has the launch action down pat!
Cam brandishing a jousting lance would make for an excellent spectacle...I'd like to see him carrying the ball, riding on AFB's back, and then launched on impact with the defensive line.
I think you're reading to much into it, we sent our injured club captain to a season launch on a training day.We sent Cam for the season launch captains photo
Not guaranteed but increase likelihood he takes back captaincy when he returns, which would also suggest starts.
Also supports increased likelihood he stays.
Neither guaranteed by this move of course.
Grant was able to fly up for it and Tino down for it, I didn’t think it was that far fetched if we’d declared Blayke captain that we could have got him to Sydney for a couple hours.I think you're reading too much into it, we sent our injured club captain to a season launch on a training day.
The thing I dont like about it is that is this combination results in Sifa only getting about 20 mins as a middle replacement.im not angry about cam starting and JC off the bench
its obvious Jesses our long term option

Don’t forget the crash plays we set up for Cam2025 stats. Fairly similar, though McInnes more dangerous in attack (in both ways)

I don't think he's ready to retire. Cam would make a great club captain at Perth Bears for a year or two.I wonder if the signing of Owen Trout and re-signing of Jesse C means Cam McInnes will retire. The new bench may actually suit him. Could be in the 19 but only played if/when needed. Just a thought. Happy to let him go if he has good offers elsewhere, happy to sign him if it is for a bench role with limited minutes.
Yeah he's said he wants to keep playingI don't think he's ready to retire. Cam would make a great club captain at Perth Bears for a year or two.
Interesting point about having a senior player sitting on the extended bench. It could be a way to 'backload' a contract, by extending it at a first graders rate but not having to give them many/any minutes. They would be handy to have at ground level in the heat of battle.I wonder if the signing of Owen Trout and re-signing of Jesse C means Cam McInnes will retire. The new bench may actually suit him. Not sure you'd want to be chewing up too much of your salary cap to do that, though.Interesting point about having a senior player sitting on the extended bench. You could see a Reynolds/older Hunt, who struggle to play 80, coming on when the game is in the balance and helping set up plays.
Storm and Gold Coast don’t have an injured (former) captain to send in their place.Grant was able to fly up for it and Tino down for it, I didn’t think it was that far fetched if we’d declared Blayke captain that we could have got him to Sydney for a couple hours.
Made me slightly less confident Blayke retains the captaincy. I didn’t think I’d gone that deep. How would I even know if the photo timing would impact him training anyway
