the NFL is not bound by the WADA code

reading that while thinking of the insane size of the players in the NFL is hilarious

Think they actually do test quite a lot in NFL just the punishments are much lighter (from memory).
Way NFL is played also accommodates some of the positions being able to stack on big volumes of muscle that an NRL player could never carry around for 20 minute+ continuous play.
No doubt you've got some cheats and perhaps even slightly more if I am remembering correctly that the repercussions are lesser.

Not being part of WADA doesn't meant rampant PED use, just means the code doesn't believe in WADA's particular methods or punishments, and doesn't need to take part in international competition.

AFL was close to walking away from WADA during the Essendon saga, only thing that stopped them was government funding.

Someone on the other forum asked if anyone thought Fitz was thinking of Xerri.

Someone responded with this:

Have you seen what Xerri looks like these days? Gone on some serious steroid use, he’s the size of a house and is covered head to toe in Tatts. Hangs out with some absolute ********s.

Forget him solely based on that. Absolute bellend.

Yeah I saw the bloke at a Sushi restaurant at Hurstville a while ago. Bulked up and tatted up.

If he were to come back, it won't be with us. Probably a club that is desperate, Dragons, Tigers or Dogs.

So he’s just decided to go down his brothers path while suspended. Smart.

Probably try and get half fit halfway out from the end of suspension to score a contract somewhere.

He could have walked into decent money if he’d kept his focus.

I know it's folly but somewhere I have a very small percentage of hope that he'll come back, play with us and be the gun centre he promised to be. It's a pipe dream I know and he's not done himself any favours but I hate to see a young fellow throw everything away.

Lets be honest, he probably still can get good money. Clubs have shown time and time again, especially ones that struggle they are willing to throw money at promising players.

His best interest is to go to a club that'll make him reach his potential, and that might not mean making big money straight away.

Reams of Good players cmg through, smart clubs (Manly Excluded) are doing as much Back grounding as they can (social media checks, Parents and associates) on promising young prospects, from Harold Matts up. He's done i'd say.

Think you're over estimating Bronson's intelligence mate.

What came first - the chicken or the egg?

Did he have potential first, then turned to drugs?

Or did he take drugs first, then had the potential?

Creatures had eggs long before chickens existed

Not sure if that answers your Xerri question…

Drugs existed long before Xerri did. I think that's what you were getting at, and it totally clears things up
