players player HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

**** me, when we were in under 12's we were either told to vote for the kid that lived in housing commission or the kid with the disability

which is what cronulla did for nikora
You had a fair point with the hit-ups, but dude... you're U12's team explains a lot.
Nikora joins the other blokes who got sympathy votes like Gallen, Fifita, Holmes, Hynes and Wade Graham. Lucky there's an award for these dribblers.

I’m more than happy with the Nikora/Tieg combo.

2nd row is one position where there’s no debate about selection.
... unless Iro scores 5 tries this weekend, after which we all start up the "Sifa back to the edge" talk ;)

averaged 7 runs a game, insane improvement on his 7 runs the year before

he is crap
Nikora is falling into the same category as much our other players..
Lots of “potential” that has been promised now over a number of years, Flashes of good games with lulls of average games and rarely matching it with the top players in their position, one thing in common. Never consistently good

Nikora, Hunt, Uele, Ronaldo, Brailey, Kennedy, Rudolph (he’s a bit better then the rest of them)

the coach needs to be able to either get this group of players to step up a gear and stay at a good level or we should start looking at replacing them and find upgrades where possible

I don't disagree, some of our forwards hover on the edge of great, which makes them even more frustrating that a Monty Porter medalist.

I think as fans we're falling into a bit of a trap, too. (bloody Trap City song is playing in my head now... thanks TK...). When they were gelling as a unit they looked great. Fantastic defence, fully sick ball movement... pretty on the eye and really effective. Then we had a few injuries and reshuffles and they lost cohesion. I don't think we ever fully recovered... and then fizzled out of the final, looking a bit beat up and disorganised. What we'd expect, with another preseason under our belts, is that we'll have all that good stuff from our fit starters, plus better prepared 'next men in' so the gamplan doesn't go to poop when we have blokes out. The trap to avoid is writing off the players with actual talent and making that great stuff completely unachievable (like the Tigers...).

For receiving the Corey Worthington award?
it would be an honour to receive an award from a member of the young entrepreneur society who has a networth value at approximately $15 million

judging by the numbers on his youtube channel, dan and i are a 10th of the way there per episode so it may come quickly with fame and fortune

Got plenty of residual whip marks but was decent overall last year and trialled well both weeks.

I think as much as I join in on this we do need to accept we don’t always use our edges on a way that ‘shows them off’

Make a bunch of tackles, run hard lines, some weeks you’ll get the reward some you’ll hardly touch it
