has potential in attack and showed some energy first half but far out his discipline is poor. gave away set restarts and penalties in the first half when the rest of the team was well behaved

did he play most of the game on the wing today ?

would explain why he seemed fairly un sighted in attack but no - the amount of tackles he made don't reflect that nor do the trys our ya know wingers scored (tracey, Ronnie)

needs to cut out the rubbish around the ruck and in the tackles - our other players have learned this why can't he? didn't get the memo? was lucky not to give away another 6 again call or 2 tonight

He was there more than once on a shift right. I noticed that.

For lack of any obvious other explanation i was thinking it was Tracey was super keen to come in for more work and Nikora was only too happy to oblige

Nikora often looks confused out there. He's capable mostly, just doesn't seem to know what's going on

He was definitely on a mission in the first half. I don't think I have seen him play that hard - not in a long time anyway.

Even in the 2nd half he was cutting down ****s from every angle, including cover defence after others had missed.

His first good defensive performance over 80 mins since who knows when

talk of moving him to one of the hardest positions to defend on the park in centre ....

would be good just to see more consistency week to week in his actual current position before getting any wild ideas about shifting him

yes he was good in attack (against terrible team) but he doesn't have the overall skill set to suit centre anyways

I think he needs to make it work for us in second row or there isn't a place in the team anywhere else for him bench or starting

if he plays like he did this arvo alot more often he can justify his position cause he was a weapon. the bloke has good defensive and attacking plays in him no doubt but difference was he brought it all together in a complete game over 80 mins and he cut out the bad discipline around the ruck (or at least got away with it)
just checked his stats 1 error (from tough pass from SJ) and 1 ruck infringement (don't recall it but prob just a generic soft 6 again call) . Point is he wasn't intentionally pushing his luck with the ref like weeks previous

Because he lacks size he requires intensity.

There lies the problem.

Surely he can't play with a cracker up his date every game. He doesn't have the right nutcase disposition.

Needs to reinvent himself.
He’s become predictable against his opposition.

Size wise, he could take up the centre spot.
Don’t know if he’s got the speed or ability to excel there though.
