Agreed

Teig starting at second row averages 107m (which is massively negatively impacted by only 89 vs Roosters but he also did 50+ tackles).
His average running meters all games is 145m.

Briton starting at second row (every game he has played) averages 82m, or 90m if you don't count the Eels game he played 20 minutes.

Even bashed up Wade is 85m or 99.5m if you only count games he has played 80 (all four of them).

Do some tough stuff Briton you cat
I'm sure Woods or Tolman would be happy to dish you a ball if you ran with them at some pace

Metres is not a measure of work rate. It’s a measure of how often your team has the ball in situations which involve that player.

Sharks exit sets are very structured for centres and wingers to be involved, and the second rower only typically only takes a hit up on a set which starts from the corner on his side. Last 4 games teams have almost exclusively kicked to Tracey’s corner.

Also - Teig being a centre much of the time (in games started at back row) skews the comparison. Best comparison would be an 80 minute performance from both Wade and Nikora in the same game when both wingers are healthy (so the exit sets are split between sides)

Having the right edge back rower run all the way over to the left side all of the time would be a terrible coaching decision. Centres and wingers can do it because they don’t have the defensive workload, and are (usually) smaller than back rowers.

nothing to right home about, he makes a lot of tackles because halves target him

Yeah - all I mean is that he gets through plenty of work, and gets through a lot of East-West running during a game.

He just doesn't know what to do with himself. Has some great footwork, is strong... He should be tearing apart the big forwards with the way he can play, especially later in the game. If he and Kennedy could get a combo going in sure there'd be something good from it.
Maybe he's more an offloader..? Whatever he is, we need to try something different with him and find out

Can't keep taking a starting spot ahead of Wilton. Some ****house selections of late.

He's been hot and cold but at least he's improving his involvement. I think he'll come good when SJ returns.

7 missed tackles + 2 ineffective isn't good enough against the Titans . plus throw in a stupid penalty that got him sent for 10

otherwise decent game - not hating on the bloke he looked decent running his lines and with the ball but still alot of room for improvement overall and in other areas

Yep he stunk a bit tonight... when we have a full team to choose from I dare say he may be missing out

I still don’t mind Nikora he does look dangerous in attack but by goodness he does some silly things.

Still not the player we thought he’d be.

He would be a good player to bring on off the bench
