Torn if I want him to miss a game cause of the flow on effect it might have in our centres/backrow though Sifa might be missing anyway due to SOO though prob will be good to backup. So Tracey will just stay as is either way assuming Sifa shifted into second row.

Nikora covers 80 mins in the back row so we have to cover that one way or another and do some shuffling + Nikora is a known quantity in that position (which is a good and bad thing) and is capable on his day but also poor on his day too

He gets through alot of defensive work over those 80 mins but those 5 missed tackles are concerning and aspect of his game which is supposed to be his thing

Snowy's stats short changed him 1 run, it was 9 runs according to NRL website which is comparable to Wade when adjusted for minutes but well behind the output of Wilton who got 2 thirds of the way to that figure in less than half the time not to mention made the bulk of his tackles.

We don't use the ball through our second row all that much anymore (our centres and wings are fire) so I'm not that shocked or concerned but love that Wilton plays aggressive and goes looking for the work. Spose he got less time and more energy to impress with coming from the bench.

Nikoras post contact metres are decent from that game in the context of his limited overall carries

Don't get me wrong he wasn't a standout to me in that game and I only recall 1 or 2 highlights from him so like I said I am torn. Certainty won't be devastated if he sits a game out but not sure if its what we really want or need.

Looks like they have taken the early guilty plea as per the updated charges table on NRL site.

Of course we have, we're softcocks with this type of thing.

If you think this is ridiculous go and have a look at the send off from the All Blacks on Saturday night , the way it's going both codes will be playing touch in a few years .

That is awful. I don't know the rules of rah rah at all, but if that is considered dirty play I reckon they need to re-write them.

Can't believe this. No way it was a hip drop or a dangerous throw.
Just gives a huge incentive to players to fake injury or get themselves in a 'dangerous' position ala Brandon Shmuck. We'll only see more of it as a result now that it's a guraranteed send off and probable suspension each time.

Whatever you think of Nikora as a player it's a load of **** we are down a starting player against the Cowboys over a nothing incident.

It's a contact sport, accidents and collisions are gunna happen in the heat of the moment, players arn't going into tackles thinking how do I make this tackle without getting put on report - they are thinking I gotta make this tackle to stop a line break or try being scored.

NRL definitions of what constitutes a hip drop, or throw or whatever changes every week

I don't like the concept of luck when it comes to competitive sport but my word you need some to go your way in the NRL these days - what a lottery

I didn't watch the game but watched it on the news because so much **** was hitting the fan , I don't think they ruled it as dirty but reckless , Ref was comfortable but alas the TMO stepped in , i've got no idea what he is supposed to do when they just ran into each other , rah rah as you called it has become ridiculous , i'm am no fan , happily watch Tigers v Dogs before a rugby test . I think i seen Eddie Jones going about the rulings in the game in Aus . Issues in league but nothing compared to rugby .

I think they have implemented some new rules regarding head on head contact with a big onus on defender to avoid it.

There are some actions that lead to that head contact that should go. Unfortunately BHU's shoulder pokes to the chin are one of them. He needs to change his style, especially when he's assisting second/third man in, he loves a whack to help put them down.

HUGE opportunity to show us why he was worth good coin contract extension against Kikau .
IF he manages him , it would go a long way to creating a Sharks upset .
Hopefully he's NOT the whipping boy and we are singing his praises instead.
Fingers Crossed 🙏
