This makes no sense, so he gets 3 weeks for a small shoulder charge but the Roosters player who punches someone oddly only gets a week? The MRC are getting ridiculous now.

Just watched it, probably is a shoulder charge the way they define it these days. Was a good hit really.

I presume Wilton takes that spot. Talakai might be back by the time his suspension is served.

Does Nikora get his spot back ? I think he probably does, he hasn't been that bad. And I think Talakai will be eased in off the bench anyway.

Really liking what I saw from Wilton on the weekend though.

yea and it was right after an attacking set where one of our blokes got absolutely put on their ass by a big tackle from an eel, so was a bit of payback but then we conceded an offside penalty IIRC a tackle or 2 later which was frustrating

Wilton is a solid player - even filling in at centre and playing longer minutes than usual he did a decent job of it - I think Nikora should keep his spot though on 2021 form

Next time he should just tackle him and blatantly punch him in the head. You get less for that.

It really does depend on what team they play for. This is glaringly obvious now.

Got your tin foil hat on mate? It honestly has nothing to do with that. It's all about the grading and any past indiscretions.

Nikora has past form I think but not the others. Even Kafusi I think was a clean skin before his brain explosion.

I know it looks like there is favouritism but if anything the process is flawed and has been for ages.

Punching to the back of the head as a grade 1 strike is extremely generous. A banned move in boxing and MMA seems like it should be more than grade 1 to me.

Fairly clean skinned

Young forwards Felise Kaufusi and Nelson Asofa-Solomona are both facing stints on the sideline after the NRL Review Committee findings from the weekend's representative round.

2017
Tonga and Storm forward Felise Kaufusi pleaded guilty to a dangerous contact charge in Tonga's narrow win over Fiji at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday night.

Kaufusi was charged with grade one dangerous contact - head/neck for his challenge on Taane Milne, but the back-rower has avoided selection with an early guilty plea.

2018
Felise Kaufusi has been put on report in the Storm’s win over the Cowboys placing his Origin hopes in doubt

Fair comments guys and I'm not saying those guys are angels but you just can't come out and say that some clubs are treated differently. Can you?

Briton has 50% carry over points from the same charge last year otherwise it would of been 1 week

I can't prove it but you reckon if a Woods or Fifita punches some bloke in the back of the head they get a single week?
I think there is a reasonably high chance if the punch came from another club it would be a stricter grading.
JWH probably could have been charged three times in that game and is as dirty as they come and didn't get a charge, even Roosters fans were shocked by that.

Mate, if that is ever proved to be true then that is ****ed. I just can't see the MRC sitting in a room saying, "this bloke plays for such and such club, let's make it a lower grading."
Next thing we'll know is that aliens have been living in the white house for years and Paul McCartney really is dead.

Certainly not a conscious thing, more an unconscious bias. Punches to the back of the head are not the Roosters go.
Nice family friendly team like Roosters, Robinson will make sure he learns his lesson, it wasn't real hard, grade 1 striking.
An 'unpopular' club and I can see the thinking being more like 'can't have people punching in the back of the head, needs to send a message here'.

I just can't wrap my head around calling that a grade 1 striking and JWH walking.
I don't think we were harshly done by, but those seems soft.

What about vals shoulder charge on the titans winger while scoring a try... i think nikora was hard done by.

I was concerned with brits preseason games, but he has been awsome so far. I love the fact he was arguing to be let back on the field.

Can someone please explain why him, wade and kennedy weren’t allowed back onthe field, yet woodsy was allowed to play the whole game with blood pouring out of his melon...
