Neither of the QLD back rowers had moments worthy of mentioning. They defended well, pressured kicks, worked great at marker shutting down space and forcing the attack to play the way they needed. People who watch rugby league would say that it was a bit of a "meh" game.

I bet Billy Slater made a B-line for Nikora and Capewell and told them both that they were damn near perfect at the job he'd asked of them.

I loved it when he had a head clash with Teddy, saw that he was concussed and screamed at him in victory!.

I thought that penalty for a forearm was a bit rough. It's like the officials thought as Teddy was hurt there must be some kind of penalty

Yes and yes. It's not a big deal btw, just how I feel about it.

I agree, a lot of the stuff he does during a normal game but goes unnoticed. I think he looks better with faster halves/play, and does have a little more venom in the big games.

At the centre of a major first-half flashpoint when he clashed heads with James Tedesco, forcing the NSW fullback off for a HIA, and then raised his forearm at Jack Bostock to illicit a penalty. Had to make 49 tackles as the Blues loaded up their left side attack. Serviceable.
