Really Good Question. Seems to me the Club have been more patient with Trindall but promoted him rather than Metcalfe. Maybe that exit to Manly the beginning of it, but then again they had him back, and now gone again. So no, probably on balance they felt Trindall worth backing more and therefore would have been higher in the order anyway?

I think Luke really shot himself in the foot signing that deal at the start of the year, understand with his injury history, but think if he waits until the mid-year or later he possibly features earlier this year for us and probably signs somewhere better than NZ, storm even.

Maybe it's Iike Angus Crichton - felt a pain in the guts so decided to get his appendix removed.

Hope he doesn't wake up after the surgery with the same pain, then realising after farting is was only wind pain.

Will be well placed to fight for a vacant jersey when Moylan leaves after next year. Will be 25 turning 26 so still plenty of good years in him if he can win it.
Puru will be chomping at his heels though.

I know it was more through other injury than a first choice plan but hopefully we don’t see him on the bench too much this season - struggled to perform that role.
