steady on lads, Hynes/Moylan got us to the position we are in our season. Trindall has had what 2 full games? 1 was good and 1 was kinda meh

I don't think Hynes is playing all that different or less erratic with Trindal next to him. If anything he is holding the ball and taking the line on even more which is something plenty seemed to be complaining about previously

I like Trindall, happy seeing him get some proper game time and do a pretty good job but would be premature and reckless to throw away a combo that has brought us success up to this point.

Mozza is in his best form since 2018 or even earlier and Hynes is always getting better and learning regardless of who would be paired next to him
Well said mate. But wait for the wrath....

Totally agree Gards. I think old @Wizard mate is still in a bit of denial about Moylan's form being so good all year. Wants to save a bit of face after all his vitriol about Moylan in the beginning of the season.

But to be fair to @Wizard , he wasn't the only one having a whinge about Moylan. :)

I must admit though, I do wish sometimes we had a better six that Trindall and Moylan. But it is what it is and we cannot complain about the Moylan/Hynes combo in 2022.

2 games. Nicho didn't play against the storm.
Remember how good Nicho looked against teams 11 and 16.
Definitely all thanks to Trindall.

Sometimes Nicho hasn't had his best games against stronger sides, which would clearly be Moylan's fault.

And we beat the Storm with Trindall and Moylan so given that Moylan is so bad then Trindall clearly carried that game - I mean Moylan got 3 votes from us and Trinall got 2 but basically that means 5 votes Trindall because of how lost Nicho would have been due to Moylan if he had played.
Remember that Nicho needs a controlling half otherwise he just looks lost all the time, took a wrong turn and accidentally went 14-5 in his first year as a halfback at a new club with a rookie coach.

Well since Tricky took control of the halves to let everyone play better in the Canberra game, Moylan has been amazing and Nicho's goal kicking has been less erratic so it all tracks. Well, except for that game itself anyway..

Hahahaha I love it .. some people on here are reaching and take things too seriously , makes my day, just don’t pop a vein.

I like Trindall because he’s a 7 while Hynes plays like a 6 and Trindall has a kicking and running game which balances Hynes out, last week Hynes went himself many times on the 4th because he was able to knowing tricky will look after the 5th..it’s a good thing

I’ve never said Moylan has played bad I was sketchy On him at the start for sure but he’s gone really good, just think we’re more balanced with Tricky and he’s getting better with time and coach has said he’s the future so it’s a win win

Moylan at his age with his injuries with his kicking game isn’t worth it enough to lose Trindall for

I can definitely see the gradual transition next year.

Hopefully with Dykes backing up some of those 4th tackle runs will lead to some tries.

Go back & watch his 80min performance. That's the point of his bench role; to have him comfortable in FG and ready. He's not a strategic bench option for a particular game so much.

If he's going to have a bench spot I'd like his role to be more the Radley 13 style. Be the link man at first reciever rather than playing like an extra half.
