bort , why do you keep saying chad is on 500k when in the same article you you use to say he is on 800+ at the cows, it clearly states he has bee upgraded from his current contract of 600k.

He seems to have a great footy brain – always scheming. Yeah the execution isn't always perfect but he's played what, 5 games of FG?

Would love to see him in the 7 this weekend.

Also, to say Chad has a bad attitude is ridiculous. If anything he tries too much.

If the effort is not there, then I could understand, but that is not the case and has never been with him.

Never goes down hurt.

He's absent? I suspect people like you would be more than happy if he was absent during games, but again, that is simply not true.

He always gives 100% of what he has. People like you don't think that's anywhere near good enough, and that's fine. But to use that as a reason to call him a pea heart is ridiculous.

I'm firmly in the camp of dropping Chad and playing Trindall, but to say he's a pea heart is laughable.

Sorry mate he’s a pea heart… it’s no laughing matter. You are entitled to your opinion but all signs point to a bloke that plays non stop mediocre football that wants to establish a media/podcast/vlog career and to run a beer company - full credit to him but his full heart isn’t in football. Look at the difference in intensity between him and all other 7’s in the comp. Agree to disagree I guess and i wish the bloke all the best at another club. Just quickly to reference our biggest game ever can you tell me something great chad did in our 2016 grand final win? I suppose he did fall over so gallen could pass to barba off the scrum, best thing he’s done in our jersey

This post reads more like someone who is jealous of what Chad has created or trying to create, than trying to convince Others he is a per heart?
Rejoice he is leaving move on.

You can’t convince people that don’t want to be convinced. And yes incredibly jealous mate sometimes I struggle to sleep at night i am so jealous of other clubs that have decent halfbacks.

He did his job which was run the team so Maloney and Barba could do their magic.

You could say the same about Cooper Cronk in the GF. I would argue CT played better than Cronk in that game.

Re watch the game the week prior vs the Cowboys and tell me had no intensity. I know that was 5 years ago but I'm just going off your example.

In saying all that I do agree it's time for a change though. Don't think it will happen until SJ is back (if at all).

He's ****en ordinary but not a pea heart. **** tries, just isn't that good.

Of course he's not 100% footy all the time. No one is, especially at 30 odd with kids. Rather him vlog & sling piss than head out & get arrested.

Anyway he's gone & this is Trindall's thread.

If we don''t play Trindall at 7, play him in the backrow, give him Grahams spot. Or interchange him with Rudolf.

Just give him more minutes.

Hannay pretty much said in the press conference that from now on they are going to use him the same way they did on the weekend.

I didn't watch the game mate so I wasn't sure.

From Post #660 mate.

Came on and played lock. Defended in the middle.

In attack, he roved a bit. On good ball sets the team was set up a bit like a late 90’s / early 2000’s team. Five-eighth as the link man on the left, lock as the link man on the right, halfback in the middle and floating either side. They weren’t fixed in place (e.g. Moylan still popped up on the right for Nikora’s try) but that was the gist of it.

I’m a big fan of this style of play under the new rules. Starting lock is a 3rd prop, but bring on a player in this role at some stage.
