I didn't mind him tonight. Second game of NRL with a fraud of a half alongside him playing against the best team in the comp. Cut him some slack.

Some nice little runs, some great bombs. Needs to pick his moments but it takes time to adjust to NRL in the halves and he's played **** all footy all year.

Definitely worth preserving with.

for sure. 100% agree.

I’m sure he didn’t realise he had to play 6 and 7 tonight in his second game of first grade.

Perfect post. He had to basically pull all the strings and be the dominant half in his 2nd game against the team coming first with a fkn cripple as a halves partner. I like the fact he is a running threat plus he can kick. His little pop passes were deadly almost put Sifa over twice.

Put him with a proper half and let him grow

This isn't a judgement on the player he might become. I've said he will get better with experience and still think so. Maybe it's unfair to throw him in with zero game time.

Tracey might offer more at the moment with having had the chance to get on the field mor regularly. He brought a lot of energy in attack if nothing else, which we desperately needed tonight.

Geez anyone having a dig at him tonight needs their heads read. Give him a few more games alongside SJ and you’ll start to see some better things from him.

Only two games FFS, give him a bloody chance!

Encouraging signs. As others have said it was his second game in first grade and against much better opposition. Seemed to hold his nerve well, didn't drop his head over the early mistake and wasn't afraid to run the ball.

May not be as "solid" as Chad to begin with but the potential and attitude is there. Will be a luxury to have two halves who can kick next week!

Does anyone think coach will give Trindall the 6 alongside SJ next week or will he pick Moylan AGAIN

Hope Chad comes back or I think Bomber will start Moylan and I don’t want it

The hard part is that we don't have time to develop him right now... We need 2-3 wins to lock in a finals spot. After all the excitement about the guy in here I guess I was expecting him to hit the ground running. He'll be good one day, but has a ways to go yet. Not his fault, but that's where we are today.

Hey , no swearing big fella :)
But I 100% agree
Although we haven't yet seen Tracey given a whole game in the halves either ( faster , bigger and maybe just as good ? )

Will Kikau be in trouble for that shot? There was no need for him to do that imo. Otherwise, Trindall should partner SJ in the halves next week, I've just about had enough of Moylan after tonight.
