the pass from trindall to graham.
was on the line --- to the line = flat.

cody walker to winger for try floats 2.5 metres forward thats ok?????
ball floats from the number to in front by a 1.5 m!

Yeah exact thoughts, reffing standard in the NRL is garbage, new rules or old rules, we have absolute rubbish.

It was absolutely back out of the hands

sam walker tonight out of back of hands thrown just on the 10 m line. floats forward caught after the line...hmmmm

I'm certain C threw one out of the back of the hands and floated forward in the storm game, called up.

same same but different

Offers so so so much more than Chad.

SJ and Trindall next week moylan on the bench. Or start Moylan and trindall and bring on SJ for which ever one is stinking it up the most.

Glad to see Trindall prove most of us on here right - good footballer in there hope we continue to give him more time like that

see I can't comment, hardly seen him in FG, apart from some games last year.

I rely on what punters say here.

surely he needs more game time.

thought he bought a spark last night. along with JW and Fifs

Braydon has so much talent and energy

Came on running all over the place tackling blokes

throws a forward pass but after that comes alive with the ball giving us a forced drop out, a crazy high bomb, dummies, essentially creates a line break with a good offload there are so many facets to his game

Chad needs to take the bench and we need to hand over the reins to Braydon, he deserves a proper crack at the jersey and with the loss to bunnies playing finals just got further unlikely

Just on his kicks, how good is it having someone who can put enough height & air on the ball to not only have defenders there on the catchers but be a legit chance of being able to compete for the ball as well.

Agree with all that except Chad on the bench. Maybe as 18th man, but that’s about it

I'd be ok with this too. Trindall needs to start a game to show us what he's got. He's young and can only improve.

I need to take small steps with the Chad lovers

Plus I think coach wants a bit of hooker cover but tracey can do that (mediocritly) and the less times Chad has to make a tackle the better

**** it have Chad run the water so he doesn't feel left out

I didn’t watch much of the game. Did Trindall come on for Chad?

From the only glimpse I got I’m sure I saw Trindall, Chad, Moylan, Kennedy and Brailey all on at the same time.

If this was the case, in what position did they all play?

I believe Trindall came on for Woods (?) and seemed to be playing a roving role. As someone else commented, at one stage we had four halves on the field

Apparently Trindall came on as a “ball playing middle” according to reports.
So assuming lock (ie Came on for Toby or Williams)?

The other 4 you mentioned all played 80.

Came on and played lock. Defended in the middle.

In attack, he roved a bit. On good ball sets the team was set up a bit like a late 90’s / early 2000’s team. Five-eighth as the link man on the left, lock as the link man on the right, halfback in the middle and floating either side. They weren’t fixed in place (e.g. Moylan still popped up on the right for Nikora’s try) but that was the gist of it.

I’m a big fan of this style of play under the new rules. Starting lock is a 3rd prop, but bring on a player in this role at some stage.
