Official Braden Uele

By end of March, we have paid 5 months of his contract.
Let’s say you are on the money with his contract @ 650.
At best, we are likely to get someone to pay half of the remaining months, by my calculations that’s 190k we’d be asking another club to pay & us saving 190k in our cap.
You may see value in that but maybe others or the club don’t?
That 190k looks pretty low value pretty quick as soon as one prop gets hurt too

BHU is a fantastic backup to call on

What's the go with this guy ? It's likely he will warm the bench moving and not play going forward as it's evident it's a mobile forwards game. Why wouldn't we shop him around now and pay 1/2 - the guys is on 650k. I'm sure someone will take him for $325k or at the least through him to Newtown
He is one injury or suspension to a middle away from playing 1st grade. Are you confident that our middles will stay healthy and out of trouble for the rest of the season?

Apparently Aaron Woods was trying to convince Manly to sign him immediately on ch7's new show

Not sure who I'd want back from them other than Koula, who they wouldn't trade anyway

Send Kobe over

The big men usually take about 4-6 weeks to be match fit. Although I like BU, I do think he will struggle with the pace of how the game is played.

Braden Hamlin-Uele also failed a HIA in reserve grade on Saturday, ruling him out as a bench option for next Saturday’s clash against the Roosters in Perth if Hazleton is sidelined.

Swap him for an injured Apa Twidle. Great FB prospect that is behind Iongi so don't think in long term plans.
He's listed as a halfback and played there in their first cup game. I'm sure it's possible he's in the plans to possibly partner Moses. I'm not sure I'd be getting rid of any potential prospects in the halves with that spot still unfilled for 2027 there.
