Official Braden Uele

This guy isn't too bad, he did well getting metres before our half way line, just disappointing on our try line. He got decent metres for us I thought before he attacked on their line.

Only bombed 2 try’s tonight…….
Tough catches both times. Did very well to be in position for the first one.
Had a hard time keeping up with the pace in defence though.
I wouldn't mind if he started with AFB.

But I dread a bench of 14. Atko, 15. JC 16. Kaufusi 17. Burns/Tuks

I think Kaufusi suits the bench better. I don't know if it's instruction or instinct, but he carries the ball like every hit up is an offload opportunity.

Early this season I thought Fitz started him to tighten the ruck, sacrificing go-forward for stability. Hasn't been a resounding success lately.
Today he dropped the pill after a try and later threw an offload like he was Adam Cuthberson.

You may be right, but it doesn't fill me with confidence.
We're short on props anyway, which means he'll stay in the team for a while.

Surely he is overdue to hold one close to the line and crash over.
Feel like it’s been ages
Almost had one last night. Was a terrible pass and he was hit before he had the ball. But it was set up.

Almost grabbed the choccies at the end of the first half as well.

Takes a look before contact, which seems to get him into trouble.

One of the features of Wilton and Nikora's games is that they don't seem worried about the potential for a big collision from the lines they run. BHU could use more of that

Always takes him 4 or 5 games to get back to his best after an injury.

Hopefully has a big gap between injuries this time around.

Sometimes an injury prone player hits a time in their career when the injuries fall away and they get a lucky break. Fingers crossed.

From my perspective, he's first grade standard, but run of the mill in that regard and he'll never be anywhere near worth what he's paid.

I don't hate the guy, but he aint the guy we need...

He's spent what were supposed to be his prime years struggling to get on the field. I had high hopes for him but I agree. I just don't think we'll ever see what was hoped consistently.
