Probably another one who's been under an injury cloud more than we've known
Quite possibly, that is often a hidden factor. We don't report some of the major injuries if we can get away with it, so definitely no idea how the niggles are.

Strong carries all game and prob one of his best defensive performances (statistically speaking at the least)

Just gotta watch his minutes - 20 mins or so in the first half is about right IMO (he played 22 mins)

Has prob turned into more of a worker than a Fifita type dynamic forward than we expected but in that has become more reliable and less erratic though he did at least manage 2 offloads (same as Rudolf)

Fitz wants the forwards playing a simple no fuss role - it makes sense all things considered and I am ok with that but feel we now miss a big Fifita style forward player that has a bit of ball playing and unpredictability about them.

McInnes is not big and he certainty has been more of a battering ram that a creative forward for us.

Can't have it all I spose but I would certainly rather have say a Sam Kasiano on the bench than another vanilla forward that does the same job as the bloke he replaced

We have some good attacking lanes on the edges but up the guts and around the ruck certainty isn't one of them and that works in the oppositions favour

once again
sorry guys
I watched the game on silent
BHUs clear regather of the ball, it was deemed a knock on???
was that the call - a knock on? looked like he took control when gathering into his chest and no bobble whatsoever.

but curran did similar later on in the game - exact same - play continued???
and a warriors player dropped the ball at the ptb and sutton allowed it to continue> a shark player at dummy called it out but nothing happened. play continued for the warriors.

just trying to make sense
seeing so many different interpretations in the NRL competition these days.

Was a very slight bobble (roll?) on the ground kinda back (little forward?) into his chest as he tries to regather- hard to to be sure, those are usually going against the bloke with the ball this season. Good effort by the big fella though late in the game

BHU was really strong tonight

I think he's better off the bench , quick quick for a prop with good feet , bring him on when he can do some damage in a tiring middle .

Was all ok toward the end there ?

Stayed down at one stage and his second stint was short .

Great kick off returns and post contact work ..

Thought he also had a very good first stint. Conceded 1 or 2 linebreaks when he went off and Hunt came on.
