For sure. Though worth noting the Warriors gave Ben Murdoch-Masila an early release to join the Dragons just last week.

I actually am not convinced he is the answer as a long term prop. The short notice would be more of an issue for me. I can't see him getting much better than he currently is and think Royce Hunt has over taken him for the starting spot.

Might make sense of we're getting a prop soon... As part of the touted Miller to Newy deal is as good a rumour.
I have him out of our starting 17 for Rd1 based on how poorly he finished the season and needing to push his way back in.
Also heard a rumour a few weeks ago that I took with a grain of salt about a prop that’s from left field that maybe more believable if BHU goes

That’s a bit of a surprise. I’d imagine we’ve got a decent replacement line up if we say yes, otherwise I’d be telling him to suck it up and start running laps.

Given this rumour comes from a bloke who boasts about making up bogus rumours, I'll take it with a grain of salt. Could be true; could also be 100% made up.

They don't have a first grade quality prop they can really afford to part with though.
Two Siafiti's & Hetherington who will spend half the season suspended. Croker and Thompson I guess are okay and you'd take them for Miller if he was desperate to leave and you knew BHU wanted out. They are leaving themselves very shallow up front though.
I guess kind of opens up spot for Friz as a bench middle but we are pretty small making that exchange.
I do think Hunt was in the box seat to hold the start but I didn't have BHU out of 17. I'd want something pretty significant to be releasing BHU.

I find that hard to believe considering what he said about taking less to stay at Cronulla because of how he feels about the club last year. Unless he’s had a bust up with Fitz which would be a shock.
Sorry but I’m putting this in the ‘no’ pile for now. Hope I’m not proven wrong because I love Big Ham.
He has had some very good stints at times but lacks a bit of consistency with it, injury being a big contributing factor

You don't know his personal situation though. What if it's something like he has a terminally ill parent in Auckland that needs care?
