Is it just a coincidence that all the top hoookers play behind dominating forward packs? Or a great kicking & organising half? Supported buy an elusive fullback?
It’s not rocket science

Our forward pack is big, mobile and skillfull while racking up the experience

Is it just a coincidence that all the dominating forward packs play in front of a top hooker?

Is Brailey going to live rent free in everyone’s heads for the next several years he’s going to be our hooker lol.

Not free, I charge him a nominal fee - same as I did Moylan last season

Unless Blayke goes to Newcastle to replace his brother I can retire in 4 years

I'm not going to write him off .
I reckon next year will be his break out season .
Fitz will work with him and the halves heaps in this summer having seen how his operate.
Hopefully he will grow into his body and stack on some muscle .
He has the basics of good defence , a decent scurry for an offside penalty when he sees that it's on .
Now it's time to kick more , pass accurately and choose the best option regularly.
Not impossible that he can improve .
Maybe judge him at the end of 2023.

9 missed tackles, 2 ineffective tackles and 1 non attempt when Cotter scored. Sorry... stat's again.

Just reading the player ratings. Didn't expect this from what I've been hearing here.

9. REED MAHONEY 7

A mixed bag for the workhorse hooker in his 100th NRL game. Threw a forward pass out of dummy half, which turned the ball over on the 50-metre line. But he set up Campbell-Gillard and also dived on a Chad Townsend grubber to clean-up a potential try. Finished with a mammoth 55 tackles, but seven misses.

It’s definitely not a coincidence
