offered very little. needed more in a big game

smith and grant were on another planet to him

very average

not about making him a whipping boy, he just doesn't deliver enough for us week to week to stand out amongst other hookers in the comp

He’s scared, every time he sees an opportunity he stops running and looks to offload completely negating our momentum McInnes will play hooker next year

Yea I’ve said this before I have no idea why he does it. Literally all the time.

And he has been doing that in recent weeks. He didnt do it tonight. He had a horribly off game. Happens to young players.

He was dog**** tonight but I’m not tossing away a young player on one bad night.

one bad night? he has been mediocre all season bar the odd decent game. nearly ever hooker in the comp is superior to him. he has age, hype and good looks on his side but those things won't last forever

Of course he’s not at their level LOL. Hardly any hookers are hahaha.

true but he is no where near their level at all, that is what is so concerning. he should be showing more promise or scope for improvement but he has stagnated while others have developed and gone from strength to strength. he is young and fit, maybe his abilities have been over stated or its coaching / fatigue. prob all 3 elements playing their parts

I think also he lacks vision or ideas. unless it's a set play he doesn't seem to come up with that much on his own. at one point tonight he was just strolling up to the ruck and shoveling inside balls bereft of anything better to do with the ball

and wet suits

HG is at another level. He is 10kg heavier playing behind a dominant forward pack.
Brailey is like a dear in the headlights

our forward pack doesn't explain away his inadequacies

Needs the off-season on the protein shakes.

give him whatever ones Jack Williams switched to this season

It easy to compare him to Smith and Grant as they played the same position but it’s not even close to being the same thing,

Look at the metres per set difference and the difference in the play the ball speed. This enables hookers to play like Smith and Grant.

Each time Smith and Grant take a run they also have players pushing with them. Brailey needs to stop at the line still to find a player most of the time.

Agree , behind a hard running , quick play the ball pack he can then work some magic.
Didn't have either tonight
