Not sure what's driving it but he's 100% been running more lately. Looks so much better when he does this, not as predictable.

Yep.. he looks scared to get tackled with the ball because he’s also quick to pass it or like on the weekend kick it when hes made some good metres.. I’m sure with McInnes he would have no doubt someone will be there to be dummy half for the next play

Reckon he's just taking more responsibility with our veteran halves gone.

His run count (from most recent) 6, 7, 7, 12, 9, 0, 4, 6, 6, 2, 10, 2, 9, 3, 6, 2, 3, Fitz Signed, 3, 4, 5, 7, 5

I don't think there is any evidence to suggest Fitz has directed him to run more. It's quite possible someone did after he had 0 runs vs raiders in round 18.
Average 5.3 runs per game, average 8.2 since that 0. He only ran 8+ times twice before that although that average is inflated by the 12 runs vs Manly.

I think in last two weeks or so there have been a couple I thought he'd pass off but that he took on the line himself for, which perhaps also stand out as a run a bit more than he usual dodge out and look for support.

He’s better off passing it rather than getting tackled. Even with the break, he’s going to be laid on and not go anywhere. Probably been instructed to pass off to a forward who can get up quicker
