Official Blayke Brailey

Cronk really got stuck into Blayke about the tackle technique that led to his broken arm (seemed harsh)

It was kinda a weird motion for a defender such as Blayke, don't think i've ever really seen him just throw a loose arm out like that before at the ball carrier

It was a bit odd
I wondered if he got a beat a bit and tried to tuck the arm rather than hang it out there in the style that can lead to torn pecs

I dunno, really unlucky though. If his arm makes contact somewhere else either on his arm or instead of the ball carriers elbow it's prob just a burner and not a break or injury

It would have been as much about where the contact had been made than the outright force of it. I remember when my collar bone got broken the impact / force that caused it didn't seem that big to me but I guess adrenaline is a thing in the midst of competitive sport too

Brails has had a really good run without injury though, might be a chance to just rest a bit and work on some other niggles (if he has any)

I don't feel as worried as I did previously after seeing our depth @ hooker doing a fairly good job the last 2 games which gives me some confidence me can manage in the interim

It's a shame about Origin for him but no doubt he will still be in the frame for the Blues in 2027 if he doesn't make it back in time for Game 3 or whatever

Fixed that for you.

I think he was a bit underdone, but will have wanted to play to earn a Blues spot.
You're probably right. I don't think he really helped his chances yesterday. Robson out-played him (or maybe I should Robson's halves), and he didn't look physically ready. But probably will get in the squad at least.

I particularly liked when Robson took a scoot out of dummy half and threw a long pass straight to Nicho.
