Is it just dummy half runs by the 9 or all runs out of dummy half? A lot of our runs coming out of trouble are passed whereas other clubs scoot

He was fantastic today. Smacking hard in his front-on leg tackles.

Defensively he’s great. But that’s about it.

That kick off was ****ing embarrassing. How anyone kicks the ball out on the full is beyond me.

Hopefully he isn’t playing 80 every week this year. We have Wilton and Nikora already capable of doing it.

He's so meh in attack still. The running game he had is gone.
Yep agreed. His passing isn’t as crisp as it used to be either. If it doesn’t work out and he doesn’t hit his potential this year, do we then have to start looking at a plan B moving forward? Yes he’s young I get that, but it’s a worrying sign that after 3 years he isn’t improving. It’s just the same old week in week out.

We should be looking to extend him another 2 years IMO, right through to 2028.

Already one of the best hookers in the comp and is only going to get better.

There aren't really that many good hookers in the comp.

Grant
Api
Cook
Robson
Mahoney
Smith?

So there are arguably 10 sides in a worse hooking situation, as I'd have Brailey over any other current starting 9. Outside of those you'd be looking to sign a young guy like Mozer or Luke on potential. Which can easily lead to getting 4 years down the track and discussing how you need more from your 9.

Hodgson, Verrills. So yeah basically every other top 8 team last season had a better hooker than us. Some even had 2. Nice trend.

Hodgson is way past it and hasn't been very good for a couple years. I rate verrils, but maybe just see how he goes at the Titans before you call for replacing Brailely with him
