Pretty sure he withdrew that, could be wrong though
Thought he retired from rep, then unretired so the indigenous game could count towards his suspension.
“He’s still retired but I told him to get himself playing and see how he’s travelling. We’ll have a discussion as the season transpires. We all know he’s a big game player whenever he’s in that arena. In time, I’m sure Jack will decide whether he’s ready to go again.”

That was from Feb 6th. Can’t find much more apart from some little pieces saying along the lines of “sources close to Wighton say he might be keen to return to Origin but wants to focus on Bunnies”, and that was before they really sucked.

I think he gets the Blues 14.

To many things lining up, from Madge coming to watch Sharks the other week, to Madge inviting him to the “secret spine meeting”, to Gus saying he thinks he’s getting an origin spot (referenced Trind
Gus doesn't have the coaches ear anymore

He definitely got the indigenous game counted so must have unretired from rep to do so.

Wait and see I guess!

Yeah I don’t know much more than you I think. Just remembered them talking about it on maybe 100% footy.

I would pick wighton though if we can. As good as it would be to see Brailey picked, I also don’t want to see him broken from it. I think he gets his time there eventually soon enough.

Seriously.... When he's playing for Australia you'll be like 'yeah, but how much better would Berrell be for Australia?'

FMD 3 weeks of finally playing like a good hooker should and now the bloke is the next Cam Smith in a Kangeroos jersey lol

Also I never said Berrell is better than Brailey, simply a interchange option

Very durable player, he is the current player with the most consecutive games. Considering his size and that he plays 80 mins in the middle every week that’s impressive

I reckon he's been very smart in the way he's played through his younger years to achieve it. Now he's more seasoned and durable we should see him push himself more and get more games like the last
