I'm with you. Ricky stuffed up our team and those who don't want to believe it are in denial. I was furious when Kimmorley and De Gois were not in his plans. Wished the fans had a say on who stays and who goes.

Yeah how dumb of me. We are going much better than when we had them players. Ricky is a good coach and won us more games than any other coach with the current players in the last 2 years. he is a legend. hail Ricky. Lets not blame the coach, it's the players fault. They didn't listen to ricky's instructions.

It is not true that De Gois was not in Ricky's plans, hence why I bolded that and stated it was dumb.
However it is indeed true that in the last 2 years no coach has won us more games than Ricky.

LOL!

Well I read that de Gois wasnt on his plans. He was told he no longer was wanted. Just found the link. Guess who said it.>

Wonderful role models like Brett Kimmorley and Isaac De Gois were sent packing at the end of last season only to produce brilliant football at the Bulldogs and the Knights

http://blogs.news.com.au/dailyteleg...comments/why_the_sharks_board_must_step_down/ so where did this guy get his info from.

Player recruitment at the Sharks has been an absolute shambles.

And what did Sharks fans get in return? Old Corey Hughes, party boy Maitua, Trent Barrett, who has hardly set the place alight, and Anthony Tupou.

Ok just making sure we were reading the same article.

Regardless of the terminology Buzz decides to use we definitely did wish to keep De Gois but were unable to match the offer the Knights tabled him to replace Buderus.

I believe the sharks are a victim of circumstance, losing bird, seymour to injury then sacking, degois taking a better offer at newcastle, ross bieng too injured to get on the park. Not too many of these things were ricky` fault, they were just our misfortune.

baz has been one of our better performers and it's been revealed toop's mind was on more important things in the last year or so.

combine that with woefull penalty and error rates and you've just about explained the season.

Ur completely wrong mate. Kimmorley wasn't in his plans, that is true and arguments can be made that Ricky made a mkistake there but in terms of De Gois, it was well publicised at the time and then after that:

Kingston was originally the long-term plan for hooker at the club but when he went down with injury De Gois took his opportunity and ran with it and didn't look back. Unfortunately at the end of 2008 with Gal, Bird, Barrett, Toops etc all locked in there was no money for De Gois whose value sky rocketed in a short period. Unfortunately at the same time Newcastle needed a replacement for Buderus and had basically unlimited cash to attract one.

After the deals were all done Bird went out and made his stupid mistake. If he had done that earler I guarantee De Gois would have been a shark for life. The same can be said if his contract expired a year earlier or later. Just an issue of timing and circumstances.

Lesson: Think before posting, especially when you are going to make very bold claims in your post.
