KL is a beast. Nichos try was terrific too. He runs very well.

Still don't think he's a halfback but a good runner and can throw a decent cut out pass.

He is pretty hard to stop running angles that close to the line. He aint no slouch.

Against a worn out, belted to death after a 94 minute game the week before, he was a certainty.
 
To provide a silver lining with all the doom and gloom tonight.

What a bloody find this bloke has been! From being on the brink of giving the game up to then the next thing you know he’s a finals standout player in a squad that made the final four.

Fingers (and toes) crossed that Billy brings thing form into 2026.
 
Was good in attack but that ruck penalty he gave away with his knees was not we needed from him - yes time was running out but we were still in the game at that point and had the momentum

Pretty silly, it wasn't desperation stage just yet. Spose Billy thought he could try get away with it. He's had a fantastic year and I am a fan but I don't think he's been in the squad long enough to be pulling **** like that with the game on the line

Not as silly as Trindall blatantly ripping the ball out close to our line
 
Come up to us after the game, was surprised how big he actually is. Couple more pre season weight training see him turning into a lewy Capwell type body, not that he is anyway scrawny currently.
 
This year was only the beginning for him. With a full off-season with the first team, and him developing his skills under Sir Fitz, next year he’ll be even better.
 
Really think the bears will sign him. Needs to be starting in the back row every week and deserves to be doing that.

But think he should be staying at the sharkies starting !

Nikora has had ages to become irreplaceable but hasn’t and just doesn’t have the size currently needed within the sharkies pack.

By the end of last season the team was confident enough to think they will outplay Storm without having to play hot potato football and were the better team for a large chunk of the match.

It was pappies individual try that got them in that 8 point in front position.

If they were just to roll into next season with the same pack (+hazelton who was a monster)

They will absolutely be a threat to win.
