Letā€™s be honest, Nikora basically plays likes centre anyway. Iā€™m not sure where he will play next year. All I know is that burns has his spot.

I hope it will be the rocket Nikora needs to get more or the tough stuff into his game. If he can get a bit more of that going he'll be he best edge forward in the comp.
 
As much as Colquhoun had also played well thereā€™s a chance Burns is lock next year also, bringing Brit back to edge
 
I posted this in the game day thread but I feel like it belongs here more:

Talk about taking a sniff of an opportunity with both hands. The fact that he is leaving Nikora, regarded only a few months ago as one of the games elite backrowers, on the bench is a testament to how hard Billy has worked to squeeze all the lemonade out of this opportunity given to him through Nikoraā€™s suspension.

Also credit has to go to Fitz for backing him and rewarding that form by leaving him in the team when Brit came back. Which isnā€™t a knock on Brit, Fitz has found a way to make it work, when Brit came on, he made a huge difference in the game and Billy excelled when he was moved to the middle.

Yeah maybe. I actually think Nikora has a lot of more impact off the bench. Against tired legs, his pace does him well.

He needs to work on being much more involved to getting a starting position IMO
 
Stays in the 17, prefer him over Nikora, turn Nikora into a Bukuya off the bench šŸ˜„

Only thing Iā€™d want to see from Jesse is a little more silky ball work, but thatā€™s something that can be developed.

We started hitting the Raiders edges more when Billy went to lock as he jumped into first receiver and was able to take the line on and straighten our attack. Gave Nicho, Tricky and Kennedy plenty of time to work with.
 
He has a bit of ā€œun-likelinessā€ to do anything but does about him like Yeo. And I think Britā€™s speed and footwork coming off the bench is a revelation. I wouldnā€™t change a thing.

It is a 17 man game now. Being a benchy is not like it used to be where you were the best of the rest.
 
I want some of what ever he's feckin drinking .
I honestly think we can run with both these guys in the 17 , whoever plays bench brings great depth for us , and both can cover a couple of positions .
I believe we have to extend Burns sooner than later , or at least make it clear to him that he is in our plans for the future .
He'll want to stay because we and Fitz gave him a break .
