Do we include McKenna as a centre or a backrower? I know he played both for us, just hard to pick where he did his best work for us.
I always think of him as a centre, IIRC he played origin as a centre , but just as good in the back row.

Yeah interesting, he's pretty level in each position. To me he started as a back-rower, looked like one and played like one.

He replaced Russell Richardson at centre midway through 2001 and played all 2002 at centre under Chris Anderson

Russel Richardson also dropped one over the line against the Broncos in 2000 in the first week final we went on to lose but at least with that one there was some pressure on him and he was stretching to get it over the line
