very pleased with this. im not a fan of his off field stuff as have met funnier blokes in monestarys but a solid aquistion to our playing ranks none the less. Also glad to see that 9 put an end to that rediculous doggies fan character especially now that hes on his way here.

Yep happy with this. I don't think he is funny at all, and had you have asked the same question last year I would say no. But with the forwards we have and signing a couple of backs already he can only improve out squad.

Hope this signing is true, great player who can beat his opposite man and can really finish, something we just don't have in our backline. His television presence and personality alone offer something to the club.... Well done sharks!!
Im thinkn that Buzz Rothfield may have just lost a few mates at the club. He has reported this first on the tele website but because the sharks are denying it i think that buzz has not realised the club would have liked to do the unveiling themselves maybe with a presser or maybe they would have prefered a double signing presser in a few days when it is expected That Heighington is epected to announce his move here. i think buzz got a bit excited here and blew his l@@d a bit early. who knows though. just an idea.

wasnt all that fussed about getting heighington but getting ryan will definatley benefit our team dynamic.. smart footballer who can easily play wing centre fullback.. am excited but try to contain it until the club does announce it.

This is all assuming he's actually signed.
Rothfield would jump the gun and report something like this even if he'd only agreed to terms.
So two things.
1 - The club could be denying so that they don't piss the Tigers off
2 - The club could be denying because he hasn't put pen to paper and we've been burnt before, and the Tigers have form for renegging on agreements.
This is all assuming he's actually signed.

You're a hypocrite. You have this thread open on a rumour, but close the thread on Chris Heighington, you must be a hypocrite of the highest order. You say you closed Heighington because it's a "rumour" so "keep it in the rumour mill" but you make this "official" when it isn't. How can you have the power to close threads when you're a hypocrite.

Exactly. Steve Turner 'agreed' with the Titans a few years ago, and never went. Luke Lewis 'agreed' to Souths a few years ago too.
