New Zealand Rugby League boss Jim Doyle says he would be ''receptive'' to an approach from the Indigenous Australian side about a fixture against the Kiwis.

Diminutive fullback Preston Campbell, the driving force behind last week's NRL All Stars versus Indigenous All Stars fixture, has set his sights on a trans-Tasman battle.

''We are looking at and exploring any options to promote the game,'' Doyle said.

Kiwis hero Manu Vatuvei played for the All Stars last week.

Let's just expand this to a world cup fixture. We can bring out all minority groups to play. We can use 'Imagine' as the anthem. I can see it really taking off..

I would say seeing as he plays in the NRL not the ESL he would play for the NRL All Stars. I find it amusing that Indigenous players want to seperate themselves to play when we are meant to be mending the gap. If a non Indigenous person was the one to suggest this sort of thing imagine the up roar about it.

I personally hate the Indigenous All Stars vs NRL All Stars. It's just another chance for our star players to get hurt.
