Interesting - could be, I have seen some stuff about Turpin and some stuff about Seg being likely to sign, but not specifically that it may be one or the other.
Turpin will get bigger interest I'd assume so if they have to splash to keep Warriors and others away from him it makes sense they'll lose out on Seg.

Seg maybe would try a bit harder with us if he saw he was top 2 hooker instead of top 3 like start of this year when all reports were his NSW Cup form was pretty poor.
But it also may be a burned bridge.

Haven't seen enough of Turpin to say whether he'd be a good chase for us as hooker#2/half#3 but with multiple clubs already interested our salary cap fine probably means he's not a real option.

Edit: if Seg is now signed wonder if that means they have given up on Turpin or whether they can still keep him too

Turpin is decent. He's probably looking for a role where he is top 17 each week though.

He certainly would be, as hooker#2/half#3 there would be a top 17 spot for him there most weeks unless he couldn't fight of Billy Mags as 14.

Warriors would be an interesting destination given they have Green, Nikorima (and at this stage still CTH* and Keighran*) and then Luke and handfull of others who have played hooker.
Both CTH and Keighran should also be looking for better opportunities I'd say, especially Keighran who won the spot to start the season and lost it for calling out the forwards in a video session supposedly.

Also Lawton just re-signed; he has been awesome this year but has missed a heap of time injured.

Yeah - same boat as Reynolds. Take him if it cost effective but he may not agree to being second fiddle

If we don’t sign a hooker I reckon Magoulias is looking good for a bench spot.

I’d take Farah over Reynolds any day, if Farah wants to play on for no less then 300k.

Like Ennis I think he would kill it

I don’t know what this is worth but the Lurker was asked about the rift at Cronulla, this was his quote. “I’ve seen bigger blues at a knitting needle convention”.

Not usually an especially reliable source, particularly given most of his posts are that club X might be interested in player Y.
But you'd think if anything he'd be inclined to blow it up rather than downplay it.

Bunnies have signed Edene Gebbie from Wynnum. He’s the PNG fullback.

I’ve watched him a lot. He’s a diamonds and rocks type guy. Electric with ball in hand and can win you a game ... but can lose you a game with a dropped ball, silly pass or poor miss just as often.

Talk The Semi might come back to Parra.
Sivo will be a good pickup for someone if Ferg/Semi pushes him out

I'd like to see him back too, even if its just to hear the Kiwi commentators butcher his name again.

If we bringing blokes back just to hear their names, I need Ray Warren screaming VUUNNGGAANA every time he made a break, back in my life.

Zero Tackle,

Former NRL star Semi Radradra is considering a shock return to the NRL, with his ex-team Parramatta the favourites to land him, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The Fijian flyer left the Eels at the end of the 2017 season to sign a lucrative deal with rugby union powerhouse Toulon.

But the 27-year is now believed to be keen to return to Australia as a number a clubs undoubtedly prepare for a bidding war to sign him.

Radadra scored an impressive 82 NRL tries from 94 games as one of the game’s most deadly weapons.

He is reportedly staying in rugby until after the World Cup in September and October and will hopefully strike a deal to return to league afterwards.
