Saw this on the manly forum, surely they don’t think their forwards are better and their coach is better received than
Just for lolz

Our spine trumps both Knights and Sharks, forward are better, and from what we have heard through our players TB is a coach they love playing for and MP already has worked with him previously as a player in SOO and as part of the Assistant Coach team with SOO.

They do have a better pack whenever they play us. I'd think the Sharks pack was soft too if my main exposure was the Brookvale game every year.

Thanks for posting.

The convenience of the Green release is hard to ignore , however Flanno has an outstanding record with these "meetings" .

Yeah who knows. Lyall has a very good record with getting the man he wants so I think it’s all manly at the moment

I still don’t really see the appeal of manly tbh. They already have a halfback, the club is under investigation for salary cap breaches, they’ve been pretty **** the last few years, their ground is like a swamp, they have one of the least number of supporters in the league and everyone hates them.

Speaking at the launch of the Festival of Indigenous Rugby League, former NSW coach Laurie Daley said Pearce would be looking to take his game to a new level at his next club.

"I think with Mitch, once he decided he needed to move on from the Roosters, he'll look at a club where he thinks he can add value and win a competition," Daley said.

"That's what we all want to see, the best players play at strong clubs and win comps.

"I don't know where he'll end up. There could be a smokey out there who comes in at the last moment and snaps him up.

"All the talk is Manly at the moment. If he went there he'd do a fantastic job with [Daly] Cherry-Evans.

"Newcastle have done well recruiting, and Browny [Nathan Brown] would teach him a lot, and going to Cronulla, he'd go into a team who would be genuine chances of winning again given they've got [Matt] Moylan, Pearce and Duges [Josh Dugan].

"Whatever team he goes to will improve.

"Manly could be top four with him, Newcastle top eight, and Cronulla definitely top four and looking to win."

if by centre/winger you mean ****ing aggressive prop then yes, thats him

haha, not the guy I'm thinking of, there was aguy from the panther last year who was a big unit playing on the right, cant say for sure if he was a winger or centre but definitely not a prop.

Technically this is no longer a rumour or player movement. It is however stadium movement. Dear Gladys is going to spend $1 billion dollars to shift allianz 3 feet to the left. Same capacity just safer for consumers apparently. There is a high likelihood that we get forced here in a few years from now.

How this slipped through so quietly after the furore 12 months ago amazes me.

The NSW Government are specialist at ruining entertainment and fun. We probably will have to move there, then die. Just like everything else in this city.

Honestly makes absolute 0 sense..... both are adaquate stadiums just leave them be and focus on upgrading suburban grounds to accommodate more people.

They could make each stadium that much better if they invest in more F&B options.

Complete waste of money but considering this government i'm not surprised.

They'd be better served giving the suburban clubs 50m each to upgrade, upgrade SFS and Homebush. With the rest spend it on schools and infrastructure instead. not on stadiums we don't even fill.
