I reckon Gal is about 180cm and less than 100kg. Is he bigger than that?

Officially he's 1.87m and 110 kg.

I reckon he's eaten a small herd of cattle, the contents of an Ingams Chicken shed and at least 50 tubs of ice cream since then.

If he isn't 122kg I'm a poor judge.

i know muscle is heavier than fat but there is no way he is 110 let alone more. And he is 187 in his dreams. I'm a midget at 175 and he isn't much more. I stood next to him at Cronulla mall 2 years ago. Maybe he was still growing?

I think you must be a poor judge mate. No way Gal is 122. Not at that height. Fifita is nearly 2m tall and somewhere between 115 and 125. Gal would be a square at 122.

I would let Taga and Heighington go. Both are tough old vets who have served the Sharks well, but they are not our future.

I like Taga. But he's not been anywhere near as good as he could be.

I would let Heino go but i would happily keep Taga as depth for another year or two if he wasn't overly expensive he isn't that old and can still play 30-40 minute stints from the bench if needed.

Heighno almost has to go. As great as hes been for us, i dont see him keeping a place. Besides i dont wanna see lewis gal and heighno all retire together, leaves big holes to replace in 1 offseason.

Yeah i agree. I would like to see them retire over 2-3 years. would be good if Gal went around 1 more year and Lewis 2 if the body is holding up well that way you have an old hard head in the team while graham and some of the younger guys get more experience.

I must admit I have a soft spot for Taga ( nice fella )
But if we could get this other bloke aged 27 going into his prime and running hard .
I'd lean towards the later .

Gives us a chance to bring in new blood (Williams, Capewell, Cruz ect) with experience around them over the next couple of years.

Itd be nice to get someone with a better metres to dropped ball ratio.
