Kevin Moore quits as Bulldogs coach immediately

Phil Rothfield From: The Daily Telegraph July 14, 2011 3:41PM

EXCLUSIVE: Bulldogs coach Kevin Moore has quit the club this afternoon with immediate effect.

Former international and club stalwart Jim Dymock will replace Moore for the rest of the season.

Moore handed in his resignation this afternoon when it became apparent he had lost the support of the board after weeks of speculation.

The club will issue a press release shortly.

MORE TO COME

That whole "make the top 4 or we'll sack you" thing was very harsh and unfair IMO. I think there must have been more to it than that.

LMFAO. Poor guy, but hey I am loving this year, we are one of the more stable clubs and little to no negative press.

Great work Sharks

I think this is the right decision. The rot that had set in at the Bulldogs looked terminal not aberrant. They looked unfit and uninspired for the last one and a half seasons.

Ricky Stuart would be good in rectifying those issues. They'll certainly compete in every game they play for at the first two or three seasons.

darryl brohman and brendan crowell from a media point of view has helped with there postive spin on our club. and of course people have just realised who paul gallen is and our coach is doing a great job

i always had time for kev from what i saw on tv.. seemed to be a good no **** sort of bloke... isnt it amazing the cancer that can beset a club when their form seems to go out the door....idris in my view has been really disappointing this year wonder if the titties are worried that he may not be the answer to their prayers that they thought he would be....

Given we don't have an assistant coach for next year, maybe he could come to us.
