No use playing him if his head is scrambled... Let's not forget some of his games last year during his contract fiasco.. He is pledging his innocents but his innocents still has our club captain saying 50k and 4 weeks... If it's 3 or 4 on the sidelines gets rid of this sorry situation so be it..

Yep, spot on vic.

Yeah, I'm sure being sat out for what he considers as injustice is doing great things for his attitude too.

If it's to do with sponsors, it's smart. If it's the club bowing to pressure from the media, then it's stupid - as the SKD/Jennings/Titans fiasco shows.

No doubt skeks there is plenty of pressure being applied on all fronts, but we need to soak it up and make the smart calculated response, for which I'm glad lyall is there steering us through it, playing fifs last week and this week would only inflame the media and exert more pressure from those looking in.. 2 days and hopefully there will be some clarity.

The media pressure is what is making us have to protect out sponsors. Our 'greatest fan' wielded a baseball bat in his moist clammy hands and struck the club right between the eyeballs.

The rest of the media ran with it and now we're in crisis management.

No one that puts their job before the club can call themselves the greatest fan doesn't matter who you are, the guy is in a class all his own.

Oh and what great fan jumps from club to club.............................

A true fan stays with their club through thick and thin.

I've been meaning to find the article that explains what he did, from memory he ditched the dragons when they didn't give him his favourite seat or something stupid?

That's true for me, following your team is like family, they may pee you off from time to time but you love them no matter what.

Did anything arise from his meeting with Penrith juniors last night? I thought he was appealing his 12 month ban.

Listened for it on way to work this morning on BBS but didn't hear anything. Don't like his chances in terms of Penrith Juniors changing minds or reducing his sentence. Think his cards are marked out there mate !

Come on snowy, it's been hard for SKD.

Sydney Roosters co-captain Jake Friend believes Shaun Kenny-Dowall is ready to return to the NRL after his teammate was named to play the Knights on Sunday.

Kenny-Dowall will return for the first time since being arrested and charged over a string of alleged incidents involving his girlfriend Jessica Peris. The matter is before Waverley Court on Thursday.

"It'll be great to have him back," Friend said. "It's been a tough few weeks for Shaun. We have been doing our best to support him. He has been unbelievable the way he has handled himself and how he has got back.

One way or another it should be sorted out after tomorrow's board meeting with the twins, then it will come down to whether or not they appeal the verdict handed down

Ridiculous it's taking over 1.5 weeks for a relatively minor incident.

Will also be interesting what kind of punishment Andrew will accept. Can't see him accepting a punishment that sees him rubbed out for the rest of the year and nor should he

I disagree it is minor, however, he is presumably going to cop between 2 and 8 weeks.

If the club is going to be lenient and give him two weeks, dragging it out for two weeks isn't a bad tactic. It is too late to argue about it when the decision is handed down.
