If the Sharks do not take firm action, the NRL is set to step in as officials want to send a clear message that the game will not tolerate the abuse of referees at any level.

Many in the game feel*an eight-match ban would be the appropriate penalty as it would rule Fifita out of playing until after the grand final, if the Sharks were to qualify.*

What a crock. So, if this had happened in round 10 he'd be facing a 20 week ban, would he? **** wits

Deserves no more than Klemmer & Graham, if guilty.

The media have been wrong about a lot of things in regards to our club in the past few years. Their tips and predictions about the Asada crap were almost universally wrong. This 8 week stuff is probably just BS.

I hope you're right. I'd be interested to know where the media are getting their "information" from.

Simple answer: Rothfield.

All his story's should come with a cancer warning.

I say 4 weeks with a hefty fine with 50% suspended on the basses he does a few things around the game etc, if the NRL then want to step in let them but they will have to be very careful.

If they miss a few weeks I just hope its backdated to last week so we don't further regret standing them down.

Apparently Gallen was on 2KY today and said Fifita should get a month and a fine at most. Sounds like they are expecting a heavy penalty, not good news.

If we make the GF this year can we get a bunch of young ladies to make sexual assault allegations against the opposition's key players early in the week?
