Surely we won't even come close to punting him or wanting to make him leave. We stuck by Isaac Gordon FFS through his domestic violence case.

I think it has been firmly established recently that beating the bricks of your missus is far less of a crime then saying some naughty words to a grown man, especially if said man is wearing a yellow shirt and carrying a whistle.

In fact its such a serious offence it is one of the only crimes that is punishable without a scrap of real evidence, Andrew needs to be banned from all ball games for life I say.

Can someone remind me please what penalty was imposed on the NRL official who bullied the ball boy and accused him of costing parramatta a win ,in the game last year ?

I don't know, but if Fifita's case is anything to go by he was probably taken out the back field and shot.

This is getting ridiculous now. It isn't a legal matter so there's no reason for it not to be sorted one way or the other. It's been over a week. What's the hold up?

If he is banned for any length of time it will likely become a legal matter. If the NRL is going to to go for more than 3 or 4 weeks then they do need to be sure of their grounds.

Article in smh states an 8 week ban will be enforced to rub Andrew out for the season including finals.

Seriously our best bet is to fight the charges legally. He be allowed to play pending the result and then a 6-10 week ban if found guilty at the start of next year.

That is seriously the only thing that is fair concerning all parties involved.

If he gets 8 weeks it's embarrassing. I sure most of us will be filthy if he gets rubbed out for that long. If that's the case then SKD if found guilty on any of the TEN charges can never play NRL again. Let's see NRL handle this correctly. I've got my doubts

Not sure. I think he was also accused of giving a serve to a ball boy.

Pretty much. Find cause to fine, suspend or sack the bloke and get on with it.

2 weeks, $20K fine. Lets go.

If it's going to be 8 weeks, let that be the NRL enforcing it, if he is going to be dirty with anyone can then be himself and the NRL, we don't need another legal battle.

A long ban isn't going to help matters. They should suspend him for 2 weeks, fine him, but most importantly get him and that ref together and he should apologize. Then make him be an ambassador for the respect the ref program and he can be the "learnt the error of my ways" guy. That will contribute a lot more to the greater problem than rubbing him out for the year.
