Lyall on Triple M now.

**** Paul Kent is a goose.

Why the urgency?

Kent , Tallis , Iken pushing Lyle hard. Stating it is OUTRAGEOUS they haven't been stood down for abusing the ref , based on the info at hand .
If Cronulla wins with Fifita playing it would THEN be a blight gets put on that game if found guilty .
Lyle holding his ground, stating the due process and all facts need to examined first and Cronulla will act appropriately then .
Sounds like Kent desperate to halt the Sharks momentum .
Kent doesn't want to risk the Sharks pulling 4 points ahead of dragqueens if we beat the dogs .
Never any balanced reporting when it comes to News corp or MMM , just a lynch mob wanting Shark corpses .
Lucky it's not easy to hang a Shark .

It's hard to get a full picture as there is bias on both sides. Choice of words, omissions, etc. Some done to keep casual readers coming to incorrect conclusions.

It was an Over 18s game. David Fifita tried to keep a game stopped while a player was treated or escorted from the field with an injury. Referee refuses to stop or keep game postponed in the incident and calls play to continue with medical/trainers attending to an injured player. Game finishes at Full Time and David Fifita aggressively approaches ref with a verbal tirade. No physical threats or actions from David. Ref takes out camera phone to document the argument and Andrew Fifita comes to the defence of his brother inappropriately entering an area not to be accessed by non-officials/players. Andrew Fifita tries to grab the phone and makes a verbal threat. Two other refs from the game come and separate the group.

I think it's worthy of a game suspension for Andrew. A fine for David who in my opinion, based on the limited information available, only had a player's welfare in mind and wanted to let it be known that the ref put a player in further danger but expressed it in an inappropriate manner in the heat of the moment.

What I want more information on is the player injury and the events and timeline surrounding that.

Skd has 10 charges pending against him and roosters players are saying he isnt stood down and he is a good bloke... pretty sure bashing your ex and stalking is alot worse. I hope paul kent gets some condition that makes him a potatoe, never to speak or type again
Tallis a few weeks back said he would punch klemmer if he played him and now want to be an angel?

I should also state I was not writing that as "this is what happened!". It was just me trying to break down how I understood it and people read differently into different things. That's just how I saw it.

Can I point out to people that skd hasn't played since AVO-gate.. So comparing him to fifs as a argument doesn't make sence, NRL don't need to make a decision yet.. On skd...

Yeah if what is being said is accurate, just slap em on the wrist with a fine and move on. Why do they feel the need to drag this kind of crap on, and as another mentioned, SKD has all the pending charges against him and bugger all is being said, seems if it is the Sharks they need to carry on and on with it. It will be the talking point of the pre-game today.

And as 1990 Sharkie pointed out "Tallis a few weeks back said he would punch klemmer if he played him and now want to be an angel?" - that there is spot on.

Because there is NEVER any controversy in the NRL about referees week in and week out, and no coach has ever been fined for abusing a referee after a game. All facts need to be heard first before people start their righteous indignation and condemnation of the Fifita brothers.

Bob Fulton is an immortal, and what did he threaten to do to Bill Harrigan? Run him over with a cement truck.

Of course the press want to blow up this Fifita matter and exert pressure without hearing the Fifita brothers side of the story, because they love this sort of sensationalism, especially as it involves Cronulla.

Fifita brothers, Sean Kenny-Dowall, all entitled to presumption of innocence until all facts heard.

They are innocent today so they should be able to play. If they get found guilty tomorrow by the panfers board.
Take the punishment on the chin tomorrow.
None of those jerkoffs want to see the Sharks succeed.

The NRL said today it would not tolerate any abuse of junior match officials, following serious allegations involving two Cronulla Sharks players.
CEO Dave Smith said match officials are the lifeblood of the game and there will be serious consequences for any NRL players engaging in physical or verbal abuse or intimidation of them.
"Match officials give up their time because they love the game and the last thing they should be subjected to is abuse or intimidation," Mr Smith said.
"It is even more intolerable if someone with the stature of an NRL player is involved - we want the full facts to be presented in this matter."
Mr Smith said there had been mixed messages today in media interviews as to whether either of the Fifita brothers had admitted directing foul language towards a match official.
The Integrity Unit had therefore written to the Sharks advising that, if either player has admitted abusing a match official, they should be stood down from today's game.
"The NRL will never prejudge anyone accused of breaches – everyone is entitled to the presumption of innocence," Mr Smith said.
"But if we become aware of any NRL players abusing match officials there will be very significant consequences."

This after they allowed a guy pleading guilty to domestic violence charges to play out a whole season and grand final. Love the NRL hypocrisy. The Integrity Unit is a bunch of charlatans.

If he was a roosters or manly player they would argue He referred to ref, as a duckwitt or duckhead..,

This should all end in NRL-Community service - 50 hours of on-field trainer duty in A-Grade and a fine of 2 sausage rolls.
