I got used to the fact he won't be here next year so I don't care if we don't table an offer. Life goes on. If we were to offer anything over 600k then I will be pissed off.

Pretty good group to have after gal , lewis, toop, heighno gibbs all retire

we can have our full back, 5/8,half/hooker(brown), prop and lock all covered. We can have a good spine just need a half/hooker

I believe the 600/700k for 4 years is good value for money

I don't understand the angst. I don't understand why this leads people to believe that he can now be undervalued. Practically half this joint, and the other one, were suicidal at the thought of him leaving before he even struck a deal.

Andrew didn't offer himself $850k to leave. Andrew didn't tear up his new contract.

Offer him what he's worth. Market value.

FTR a dogs fan posting at LU has stated that the third party sponsors had a spit last week after that article.

Don't know, I think many of us weren't happy at the prospect of paying him 750-800k.

I want him to stay and I think it would be great if we could hold on to him. I have no ill feeling towards him whatsoever. He was offered fantastic money and I can't blame him for taking it.

Make an offer of what we think he is worth and if he wants to stay, then great.

I'd say maybe $650 max

If not, life goes on.

I don't know whether to laugh or shake my head. The guy is a chump.

The problem with what you are advocating, i.e. downgrading his initial offer, is it is likely to cause serious resentment toward the club. I think we are stuck with our initial offer or we should pull out.

Sucked in douche nozzle. Have fun at union.

I'm against the club offering him the kind of money he thinks he deserves. He's a grunt. Catches the ball, runs forward, maybe pops an offload, makes tackles. Whatever, there's a million ****s who can do that.

We need to spend the money on some quality backs. We still haven't signed any decent outside backs for years. And don't say Beau.

this is so funny.
To an extent it isn't that funny. He is our player for the rest of the year. He is going to be seriously disenchanted and we need him. It will be interesting to see how he responds on the field.
