I've pretty much got everything in rugby league except a premiership and that's all I really want, and to win an Origin series

I've pretty much got everything...except a premiership, or an Origin series win, or play in a Grand Final, or captain my club, or my State, or my Country, or a Dally M, or a Clive Churchill medal, or a Golden Boot.

This guy is becoming a rent-a-quote. Dangerous considering his immaturity and IQ.

You think the NRL would appeal to the ARU to not register his contract? Especially if he were to just walk out.

why not just go now to rugby,
wouldn't be the first player to walk out on a team and a contract.

That's why you should always keep still when standing in quicksand.

Just read Fifi wish he chose union if he knew how much flak he was going to cop.

Also recons a switch to rugby is ineviteble. Then in next sentence says his heart will always be at the sharks and could end up back here in 5 years.

Then says the sharks didnt make him the player he is, "he changed his life to be that player"

Glad hes going now. His ego is getting bigger than that ugly tatt on his leg
I'm going to defend Fifita here. He had his break out season with us and obviously we have played our part in the success he is enjoying today. However, the majority of the toil has taken place prior to joining the club. He feels his achievements are his own. If he was a junior then we would have every right to be upset, but I don't think his comments are out of order.

or played 100 games

fact is the guy has gotten too big too soon. Yes he can thank his attitude shift for his form change, but he can thank the Sharks for driving him. They coulda just put him in NSW for being a bum but they got him fit. Tigers couldnt do it! Kasiano exploded onto the Bulldogs team, then dropped off. I expect similar with Fifita, everyone will expect fireworks. It wont happen. But on the plus side, there is a FTA game for us early next season lol. 9 will love the 'rivalry'

Crankshark - it's typical of a player with little to no intelligence to make a comment of that ilk.

All he has to say is that he has worked incredibly hard himself to get to where he is and is happy with the results and proud of the player he has become.

He doesn't have to trash the sharks input into his development. Essentially when you read that the connotation is that the sharks had no input what so ever on him becoming the player he is and that he has no respect for the clubs input into his progression.

So none of the culture at the club, the players he plays with, the coaches had anything to do with him having any increase in his performance.

So if we continually played him off the bench, would he have had such a good year? etc etc.

He is clearly an incredibly unintelligent individual who needs to focus on playing footy, get off social media, get your head out of the papers and get on with it.

He has done himself absolutely no favours with those comments.

My first thought was he should keep quiet, on reflection though I'm glad to see him so fired up and confident. He's always worn his heart on his sleeve and hopefully it brings the result Sunday. Enjoy it while it lasts

While we weren't solely responsible for making him the player he is. We did contribute to it. So I semi agree with Fifita on this one.

He will fire Sunday and we need him to, if we gonna take em. Just wish he hadn't also commented on their injured player!

This story is the most twisted article ive ever read...
They have taken 2 sentences out of a half an hour interview and turned it into a story about him trashing league.

And this is why I can't workout why they do interviews, they should know how they turn out.
