Looking forward to another season of debating what exactly constitutes a shoulder charge and whether someone should be sin binned for raising their voice. 😒

Same , ran HARD and straight .
Tired in defence at the end of his first stint , which went for 26 minutes.

Very good game. Really impressed with his charges. But at full strength he’s still bench at best for mine.
Yeah stoked for him tonight. He is trying hard to lead from the front he Ran hard not his usual crab across field. Will get his chance during the season. But unfortunately the game has got to quick for him.

Pleased for him tonight. If he could do that every week then he would be in the 17. Just don’t think he can play like that week in week out though

Done it in all stars and the trial.. he’s going alright the big boy, given no reason to doubt him this year (yet)

Yeah the big slug played well last night, pretty impressed. His starting days are behind him but there may well be a bench spot.

his PTB is a bit slow but all other aspects of his game are looking pretty solid. he isn't done, still useful for us and that puts a smile on my face.

he saw the opportunity given to him starting in the trial and he took it, no doubt wants to play every week for us

good on him

I think I would take what he gave us yesterday over what Tolman can give us. With Hunt, BHU, Dale, Hynes, Brailz ect firing we don't require Tolman as much either

Fifs was ok, he still did the odd dumb thing, but he wasnt terrible. I felt he was outshone by Hunt though, I just dont see a spot for Fifs in the 17 for round 1.

Just glad to see the big fella playing well and contributing.

I wouldn't be sad to see him jag a bench spot, especially in the early rounds with Wade and Cam out. We could use his leadership.

As much as I have been vocal his lack of playing anywhere close to $850k a year is hurting our results one of my big concerns for Fifs has always been he ends up plodding away in reserves still wanting to be a first grader until he can't play anymore.

Some guys happily retire from first grade and go play something local or even stick with a Cup side for a bit but Fifita clearly still wanted to say play NRL. Others retire from NRL and are done. But you don't really want star players just getting faded out not on their own terms, or without suitable send off.

He deserves a heroes exit with us and not sure he can 'earn' one anymore, unless through circumstance of a bunch of people being injured end of season (which hurts our results). He also says he'd still like to play with his brother again (England or here) - I wanted him to meet up with David in England for 2020 season. That might have to be a park footy or knockout cup effort now.

its better to have andy in and around the team than not, salary aside

he still has a role in this side, whether it be motivate and rev up, or 25 minutes off the bench, his presence is something that doesnt go unknown int he squad

If he were able to hold a spot in the 17 it'd be one of the most remarkable comebacks you'd ever see. Fingers crossed for him, he deserves a proper send off (not his usual type... You know what I mean...)
