Seems strange after all this time. Would rather Fif keep his name out of the headlines.

Besides, I thought you had to wait 20 years at least before going back to make allegations and what not...

I hope he chooses Tonga.

NSW coach Brad Fittler has revealed Andrew Fifita is yet to declare his allegiance to the Blues as he weighs up his representative future.

The Cronulla prop could find himself at the centre of a wrangle between the NSW State of Origin side and Tonga following his controversial defection to the Pacific minnows last year.

However with Tonga's Pacific Test against Samoa to be played a day before Origin II, Fifita has a difficult decision on the horizon.

Taumalolo playing for Tonga only potentially ruined his chances of playing for the Kiwis again and the occasional rep bonus that comes with it ($30-50K I think)

Fifita playing for Tonga probably all but ruined his chances of playing for Australia again ($30-50K) but also put playing for NSW in jeopardy ($30K a game).

From a Sharkie's perspective I'd love his only rep footy to be with Tonga. I'd be happy to pay him more knowing he won't play Origin - I think any quality player who could but doesn't play Origin is worth a little bit more, like Taumalolo, James Graham etc.

But yeah **** NSW, Fifi! Tonga will probably win a World Cup before NSW get the shield again. :cheers

Really mate, are you worried he's going to lay awake at night thinking about it or something?

Nope i don't Fifita good really give a stuff, its the media that will make a massive deal about it and will drag on if he doesn't make a decision soon.

I don't think they will, it's not like it's a contract situation dragging on. Also, he's not a guaranteed starter for NSW anyway.
