Yeah Meninga had another crack at Fifita in the news tonight.

Absolutely beyond me why Meninga is taking this angle considering his past.

As it was said earlier, someone needs to remind him about it. What a hypocrite.

I fully understand he's just towing the line for the NRL and ARL.

But it'd be best if he just were to drop 'no comments' from now on when it comes to Fifita.

PK promised us that the information he had on Fifs was big and incriminating. Would be great to hear what he has.

'Fifita wastes bandage which could have been used by Médecins Sans Frontières to save a life'.

I look forward to him releasing the information when the story has totally blown over to inflict maximum damage to whoever.

he will wait to the start of the NRL season when he can get maximum exposure, no one cares during cricket season.

Andrew Fifita fined $20,000 by NRL for on-field support of one-punch killer
THE NRL has fined controversial Cronulla forward Andrew Fifita $20,000 for his on-field support of convicted killer Kieran Loveridge.

A NRL spokesman said Fifita had also been warned that any further breach could result in him being deregistered.

Fifita was photographed on seven occasions playing with the message “FKL” on his wrist in the 2016 season, believed to stand for “Free Kieran Loveridge”, “For Kieran Loveridge” or “Forgive Kieran Loveridge”.

The spokesman said Fifita had been issued with a breach notice last week and his response has been considered.

“It has been decided to impose a fine of $20,000,” the spokesman said.

“Our competition cannot be used as a platform to promote inappropriate causes such as this.”

That last line pretty much sums up the fact they haven't listened or considered a word Fifita said in response. Grasping at straws to try look less foolish.

They said on nine that the NRL have said that any further indiscretions will likely result in his deregistration. Will be interesting if he does something small and gets punted by the NRL. I can't imagine Cronulla would be too pleased with that from a contract point of view. What then? He comes back a year later for another club?

He needs to lay low. I'm guessing the NRL is gunning for him over the Loverige thing and if I was in his shoes I wouldn't be betting on waltzing back in at another club a year later.

It is time for him to realise that despite being a very talented footballer, he is lucky to be in the position he is in and not piss it up against the wall.

Regardless of what the F meant, it was a dumb move by him. Take the fine and move on

Im pretty sure i read Fifita told the nrl that the f was FOR. Not free or forgive or felch or whatever.

Dick move, hopefully fifita will soon wake up and realise hes gotta keep it all respectable.

But in fifitas defence he never publicly talked about loveridge while wearing the fkl, nobody even realised it til weeks later when the media brought it all up.

Exactly. Look at carney. He'll struggle to get registered again.
