In your head, rent free
this one hurts

despite his decline in his performances and his body issues, he will always be a favourite and the guy who gave us the best moment of our football lives

knowing that he may put on another nrl jersey makes me ill (heard a rumour he has a 12 month deal with a club)

thanks for everything andrew, the club turned around when you turned up

Thank you for everything big fella! A true club legend.

An amazing career, hopefully we do offer him an offside role now that he has retired with the club.

In the late70's/early 80s we had The Sorensens, who shone, and handed out memorable forward moments. In the 2000s, we had another generational Big Forward . What a ripper, and to think he landed here by default sort of. Often misunderstood, but much loved. Glad he went out with us, and had a good final season.

I know not the way he planned to finish. But as a sharks legend it’s great. Enjoy your Xmas, rekon Santa may buy you a whistle and see you at pre season training revving up the boys.

His medical when departing the Sharks suggested he needed seven operations to correct injuries, which forced Fifita to retire.

I need osteotomy surgery on my left knee, that’s when they actually cut the bone and add tissue to realign your bones... I need my left ankle surgically straightened, I need a right shoulder reconstruction, my nose bone is collapsing, so I need a nose reconstruction... I need my middle finger fused, a right elbow arthroscopy and I’ve lost all my back teeth, so I need dental surgery and teeth implants.

Poor guy is held together by sticky tape

We should all be thanking Adam Blair.

Not sure if he would be the right fit for a coaching role, I sort of feel it’s good to honour the past but each playing group have to be their own squad. Hopefully we can use him in that part time ambassador role that Gal and Lewy do well

He would be great for a pathways type role. His story from the streets to the NRL is truly something. Would inspire a lot of the youth out there IMO.

Thank you Andrew. He retired as a Sharkie legend. I know many of us did not want to see him wearing another jersey.

All the best in whatever path you choose next.
