I love this beast. Most metres of any of our forwards tonight. 10 MORE YEARS

I'm shocked to read that but that stats confirm it.. He was good and strong and heavily involved but had so few minutes. Forwards really shared those runs around kept them fresh across the park, good job all round

maybe not 10 more years on the field for us but I would love to see him stay in our jersey on the park for another year, he is making a difference in alot of ways

stoked he bagged a try assist

He won my effort play award tonight. About 15 to go they kick off and it bounces to one of the centers or halves can’t remember and he just comes out of no where steals the catch and runs like 20m into the Defence like a freight train. That’s the fifi we love

Yeah he's not what he used to be but far out if he was going to retire this year, he's going out in style.

Shark still on hunt
Andrew Fifita is not ready for retirement and it could mean the Sharks prop continues at another NRL club. The 13-year, 246-game veteran has been talked about at rival clubs. His biggest fan is coach Craig Fitzgibbon, who has marvelled at his ability to set and drive the team’s culture.

Fitzgibbon will have Fifita as a member of the club post-football without a doubt. The only issue is Fifita may want another year.

Wouldn't let him go. I dare say I would re-sign him for one year.

So good seeing this guy smiling on the field and playing well. Should be so bloody proud of himself!

Being 'talked about' at rival clubs could mean anything. It doesn't mean another club is looking to make him a genuine offer and sign him. I bet the Tigers talk about him all the time "why the **** did we let that beast go when he was coming into his prime? Or Melbourne "**** that bloke ruined our day in 2016 aye"

it's typical vague journalistic bullshit - you really should be posting the source though egg but sounds like one of the Telegraphs 'scoops' possibly baited by Fifita's management

Fairly specific need to want a low minute prop with some injury history - it makes more sense at Cronulla because he is already on our books, knows the players, culture systems ect. Different thing for him to go integrate somewhere else and would he have the same passion as he does for the Sharks, dunno

Would break my heart ever seeing him in another NRL clubs jersey though, it would be wrong on a couple of levels
