Bumped into AFB today down at Chadstone shopping centre today. We had a good chat about the sharks. Was wearing my shark cage jumper funnily enough which he noticed when I walked up to him.

Mentioned the following:

Absolutely loves the club and Fitz. Said he actually had multiple other offers who offered more money and an extra 1-2 years on top but wanted to play for us. Biggest offer was actually 6 years from the dragons

Blues are expecting Walsh to play last 20 minutes of origin.

Brailey is doing everything he can to get back in 2 weeks and is desperate to try make the blues squad for game 3.

Anything but making the gf this season the club will see the season as a loss. Last years prelim was devastating he said and reckons if they had of won, they would have beat Brisbane in the gf.

Talakai is shattered he’s leaving, the club did everything they could to keep him.

Also mentioned how excited the players are for the leagues club to be finished.

Pity they didn't beat Brisbane when we actually had the chance - cost us top 4.
 
Expecting a huge game from him Sunday. Will hopefully be wanting to prove a point and force Daley to pick him again for game 3.
 
Im genuinely not being biased here but I really think he needs to start game 3 alongside Haas and Brailey in that front row. Get the ball in his and Haas’s hands as often as possible at the start of the game. Go straight up the middle and lay the platform with plenty of hard carries and quick play the balls so Blayke can do his thing. Both AFB and Haas have big motors so you can get them through a lot of work early without fear of burning them out before you bring on Yeo and either Ford or Barnett. Seriously they should be doing two hitups each set as often as possible.
