Fords has had one season of note AFB has been at the top of the game for awhile, he deserves his spot. His form has been done this year but still shits on ford

Qld have quick mobile forwards, dont see him keeping up as the game goes on

The little blokes don't get any faster as the game goes on though. Big blokes just get tired.

If he can keep up in minute 1-20 he can keep up with those same players in minute 60-80 after he's had a rest... right?

Maybe if you've got too many big blokes so you can't give them a rest it hurts AFB when some other guy is tired and AFB isn't quick enough to cover. Looks like both sides for origin have picked sides with just a few big boppas and mostly 95-105kg forwards though, so not really a thing here.

More worried about Grant and Plath taking advantage of him. Tino also is a machine and is fit who goes all out.
Hope to be proven wrong, but the qld starting forwards are going to come out firing and will be out to smash blokes, what Freddy said is right (surprisingly haha) if AFB doesnt go another level for origin he's going to be useless like Stefano last year

Stefano was great for club post origin, so I’d take that

Should be right to kick goals from next to the posts in the prelim then ;)

Technically you don't need Reece Walsh. You just need the NRL to decide someone on your team can can throw forward passes, run behind his own players, shoulder charge and headbutt guys with impunity. Also helps if anyone who teases him gets sin binned.

Jokes aside... was a team effort in that 11 week run to the finals by Brisbane. People forget after the GF performance that guys like Hunt and Walters were just as important in that run as Walsh was.

Had a good second stint. Something I've noticed he has been doing at the Sharks as well this year.
